iPhone 2.1 and battery life

A quick post this morning just to note that I've seen a dramatic improvement in battery life following the update of my iPhone 3G to the 2.1 software. I've also seen a signficant improvement in signal strength. If you haven't updated, you should consider doing so as 2.1 eliminates many, but not all, of the iPhone 3G's shortcomings.

I've also found a notable improvement in battery life on my iPod Touch with the 2.1 firmware. I'm slightly annoyed however that at the end of one podcast my ipod continues onto the next episode where it used to stop at the end.

Calvin,

Interesting point, I haven't had a chance to get into podcasts on my iPhone so I haven't noticed that. Thanks for the head's up.
