115 SPIT

115 SPIT

I do these blogs to help those that really want to know God better understand Him and to give them some idea how and what to look for. [And feel for; He made the physical, too.]

I’m going to give you some very intimate details about how God communicates with me and, also, some pointers about how He might communicate with you but, always remember, He is a personal God and wants a personal relationship with you.

As He deals with you and you feel after Him, you will notice touches, thoughts and voices that keep coming back every time that you get alone with God; that’s Him.

The devil cannot touch you unless God permits him to and him and his minions are also around you all the time, too. Nowhere in God’s word does it say that we can command him to leave us alone and he will obey us. He loves it when we believe this mistake because we relax and let down our guard when we think that he has left at our command.

Jesus said resist the devil and he will flee from you. That’s how you get him away from you. When he tempts you by sight, sound or feeling to think or do something that displeases and disobeys God, then it is up to you to resist. After enough resistance, the devil will see that he is wasting his time with you and move on to someone he can work with; but don’t be fooled, that someone he moves to might be some one that has a great influence in your life and will be a better tool for him to use against you. Study God’s word and seek Him, so you can be ready to drive the devil away with your resistance.

Now, about me; right from day one, when I believed the words that I saw in the bible and realized that Jesus was real, I have heard God talking to me. As I sat at my kitchen table growing more and more relaxed about apologizing to God and begging His forgiveness for ignoring Him and His son [repentance] and after about an hour of putting it off thinking that I could probably do it next week or next month, God spoke to me and said “Stephen, if you don’t do it now, you won’t do it.”

Scared the spit out of me and I realized that He was right and that from that moment on, I would be living my life as a lie; ignoring the truth. I rushed to my bedroom and fell on my knees but I didn’t know what to say so, I asked God to help me and He told me what I had to apologize for.

The bible says that after repentance, God adopts us as His children and I knew that I could pick up a phone and call my physical father and talk with him and hear him respond. If I can do that with my earth father then I should be able to do it with my heavenly father and I was right, I can. Believe this and you can, too.

As I spent more and more time talking and loving Him, my heavenly Father started touching me. I noticed that every time I turned my attention towards Him that the nerves in my left temple felt a slight pressure, like a tingle that, over time, spread down the left side of my face. There is no physical explanation for this occurring and it only happens when I focus on God.

I am also aware of a tapping on my right shoulder when He wants to get my attention to tell me something. Every time I have felt this tapping, He has had something to tell me for my instruction or to keep me from doing something that would get me in trouble.

He has touched and moved various parts of my body when they needed moving for my health; He has taken headaches away in an instant, when asked. I have been physically shaken and experienced the religious experience of being slain out. [Knocked to the floor with no control to stop it and absolutely no harm to me; He was showing me that He could do it and be trusted not to harm me.]

For living my life, taking care of my children, my wife and my responsibilities I have to apologize? Dude, you seriously need to get onboard with the real world. If a higher being is constantly demanding that you apologize, worship, or otherwise live your life for nothing other than to serve it - that sounds more like a dictator than a loving entity. Perhaps you should take a good long look at what is going on in the world. Would a loving entity cause so much death and destruction? Would a loving entity take your child from you because he needs the child more than you? Sounds pretty selfish. I don't think it's god talking to you, and I don't think it's god that's "touching" you. I'm sure if you made an appointment with a good psychologist, they could help you out.
Good luck.

Hi Joseph
Thanks for your input, I see a lot of questions so I'll try to answer them one at a time.
Living your life and doing what is normal is not what God wants us to apologize for; as a matter of fact He would love to help us with those very worthy things. Jesus had to die so that we could have the chance to know the God of creation so that we could get the help we need to live our life in a healthy and peacefull way. Most people don't know how to correctly relate, communicate and fellowship with each other and know for sure that the future tat they are trying to build will be a good one. They're trying this way and that way; going by guess and by golly.
God created us and knows how life is supposed to be lived and what we are supposed to do to make it a lasting, loving life. Jesus was sent to show us how it is supposed to be done but we killed him, rejected God's love and are trying to do it on our own.
We have to apologize for rejecting God's help and accept...Continued

Continuation - accept His son as our mentor.
What is going on around the world is our doing not God's. People wanting to be their own boss and wanting everyone else to do it their way got us in this mess in the first place. God, by making His son master of all those that will accept Him as their savior, master and friend will help them live their lives the way that He intended them to live it and it will last as a loving and peacefull existance.
My first wife wanted to take my children from me but God has given them back to me and we have a better relationship now than before. I have served God for over thirty years and my live is fuller now and, yes, I had all the hardships that other people have but God wants us to survive hardships and get a better life; not lose everything in the process.
I can help others get to God because I was were you are. Doubts are normal but don't let it stop you from asking questions and seeking after the truth.

By the way, I know a good psychologist and he believes just as I do. We became friends because we have the same belief in common. I also know some lawyers, business owners, accountants, politicians, truck drivers and skilled trades people who believe the same as I do and are successful in their lives as well as their professions.
Maybe you are talking to the right person. Maybe your not here by chance but God brought you here so He could help you. Think about it and I hope to here from you again.

Darn; I'll be glad when this rush at work is over and I can have more time to spell better. :)
