
Second Annual New Brunswick High School Programming Competition

Eleven teams of students from high schools across New Brunswick competed Friday, May 9th in the Second Annual New Brunswick High School Programming Competition.
In addition to the wonderful prizes, all students in the top three teams received bursaries from UNB Saint John’s Vice-President, Dr. Kathryn Hamer, to be used toward first year tuition in UNB Saint John’s four year BScCS computer science degree program.
Mr. Jeff Reid of xwave presented James Stuart and Kael MacGillivary of Riverview High with xbox 360s from xwave Aliant and each student also received a $500 bursary for their second place finish, completing four problems within the three hour time limit.
